I would never trade the VW for it, but still, I'd love to add a Jag to the collection someday. It's the maintenance I can't afford.

I was parked in my car sitting next to one yesterday. It was there for 5 min tops and by the time it left a large puddle of coolant had formed under the car.

I get to ride in a 2007ish XJR occasionally that a business associate owns. I weep because the driver has no idea what he has, and treats it absolutely horribly, but has a stick so far up his ass he would never attempt to become a better driver.

If you're referring to the 911, I don't consider that staying with the exact same design as it clearly changes slightly from generation to generation. There is a clear difference between a 993 and a 996. The XJ has basically just gotten bigger wheels and blingier trim.

Odd. If you'd said all the XJ40s and X300s looked the same, I'd have agreed. But the X350 looks very different - at least as much as between two 911 generations. It's bigger, more bulbous, much higher-waisted, and so-on.

Fair point. I just think the XJ40 looks a little more angular than the X300. Also, the headlights throw me off
